AISEL

Meet Aisel, our passionate language teacher who brings the warmth of our Kazakh hospitality (qonaqzhailyk) to the world. Born and raised in the vast steppes of Kazakhstan, she grew up surrounded by the rich traditions of her homeland—from sipping a warm bowl of shubat under the Almaty sky to exploring the poetic beauty of Abai's verses.

With experience in teaching Kazakh to diplomats and foreigners as well as English and Russian to Kazakhs she has a deep understanding of languages, trying to make learning feel like a friendly chat over a cup of Kazakh tea. When she’s not teaching, you might find her wandering through the bustling streets of Astana, enjoying a fresh baursak at a local market with her friends.

NURBOLAT

Nurbolat isn’t just a language teacher—he’s a storyteller and the kind of person who always has a funny old Kazakh proverb for every situation. Born in the heart of Kazakhstan, he grew up hearing the rhythmic dombra tunes played by his elders or the age-old tales shared over steaming plates of beshbarmak.

With a background in language teaching and a love for his homeland, Nurbolat brings the language to life with real-world expressions, cultural insights, and just the right touch of humor. He knows that learning a new language is a journey—like riding across the steppe on horseback, it takes patience, practice, and the occasional break to enjoy a good cup of kumis.
